I believe that there are angels among us.
I believe in the goodness of man kind,
and the love that flows between us.
I believe that at this time of year, miracles can happen..
And Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus.
Yesterday morning, when Keith went to leave to go to work, there was a package stuck in the door. It was addressed to Bug, with a note....that said...
Dear BUG
Santa was worried this wouldn't fit in the sleigh, so we decided to deliver it early-just for you.
Love Santa's elves,
Hope, Faith and Joy.
Now, when Miss Bug wrote her letter to Santa this year, she only put on it that she wanted one thing..two if possible..but mostly she only wanted an Easy bake Oven. For the last month, we have been searching for said item, but everywhere is sold out. I talked to Bug the other day and told her that Santa might not be able to bring the Easy bake Oven, and asked if she had asked for anything else.
"A book" she said"
"And?" I asked
"Nothing else Mommy. I didn't want to be greedy".
How do you argue with that? But it did not help us in the search for something to get our little girl for Christmas. Friends kept their eyes open, but no ovens were to be found.
Then this package arrived at the door.
She has not opened it, as the note from the elves also says DO NOT OPEN TILL CHRISTMAS. And Bug ALWAYS follows the rules.
But I am betting that inside, my little girl will find an easy bake oven.
Believe in Santa?
I sure do.
And i want the "elves" to know, if they are reading this, that I will never forget the joy that they brought to a little girl. The magic that shone in her eyes as she read the note, and the love she feels as she walks by and touches it as it sits under the tree.
No matter what is inside that box when she opens it tomorrow, I want you to know that you have helped lift my spirits, and reminded me that there really is MAGIC in the world.
Merry Christmas to all of you from our family here at Wilsonworld.
May He keep us all safe in the cradle of his loving hands....
and may all of your dreams and wishes come true.
Believing just got easier this year. Belief in miracles, belief in family, belief in how people are intrinsically good at heart. Belief in friends, and belief that hope is a powerful thing.
Merry Christmas Kimby,
Love ya!

Christmas is such a very special time of the year. It's a measure of our faith, and such an expression of the love for our family. From my family to yours, Merry Christmas!

Faith is an interesting concept. You take what U R given and then, "decide."
One needs a basis for the leap, methinks.
